How it started
My parents got me chicks for pets last year, when something sad happened. I picked them out from the store, and the gentleman allowed me to grab them gently myself. They stayed in our house for a while, under a heat lamp so they stayed warm. When they were old enough, with feathers to keep them warm, they moved outside to their nice protected coop.
This is me feeding them from my hand. Unfortunately, the gray one in front, Penguin, turned out to be a rooster and we had to give him away.
I’ll take pictures of the other chickens so you get to know them too.
